Installation Considerations Ceiling Cassettes are flush-mounted, which requires removal of enough ceiling material to create a cavity for the unit. The 24k Ceiling cassette is large format (see specs below) and will require modifications to ceiling framing in most cases. Additionally, Ceiling Cassettes have factory-installed, onboard pumps to lift the condensation produced by the unit during cooling. The pump can lift the condensation up to 14.
